A man slipped and fell in the Ogilvie Transportation Center causing him to shatter his knee cap. The slip was caused by water leaking from the ceiling which the station did not warn about. In addition, the janitorial company was found to be at fault for not cleaning up the leak.

Water has been leaking in the station for years. Now a man has been injured by that leak and the negligence of the companies that wouldn't fix it. The man had to miss four months of work for surgery and physical therapy.

On Tuesday afternoon, a woman was hit by falling ice on Michigan Ave. The woman had to be transported to the hospital in fair to serious condition.

 No one else was injured by the falling ice as the area was soon cordoned off. The woman's injuries do not seem to be life threatening. Other information was not available.

There were six people injured in a collision on the South Side this morning. The collision occurred at West 87th St and Holland Rd at 8:15am.

Two adults were taken to the hospital in critical condition and four children were also injured. However, the conditions of the children is unknown. Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.

The medical helicopter company, Air Angels,  has shut down all of its Chicago area operations. This comes in the wake of last year's helicopter crash into a radio tower.

The ArcelorMittal plant had an accident on Friday morning that ended with the injury of three contracted workers. The accident involved the slag processor erupting.

One of the workers was burned and another was hit by shrapnel. However, the extent of injury is currently unknown, and is not being disclosed.
