1 in 4 Text While Driving

by Administrator 22. May 2009 10:18

A recent study found that 26% of drivers across the nation text while driving. This is true despite laws that ban the practice in 7 states and the District of Columbia and news about serious accidents caused by it.

According to the study, the state with the worst offenders is Tennessee with 42% of drivers admitting to driving while texting. Arizona had the fewest with 18.8%. No matter the percentage, any driver who texts while driving puts lives in danger.

If you or someone you know has been injured by a texting driver, contact the Chicago personal injury attorneys of Friedman & Bonebrake, PC at 312-466-8200.
