10 Year Old Found Hanged in Bathroom

by Administrator 4. February 2009 12:59

Oakton Elementary School in Evanston was the location of the accidental hanging death of a 10 year old boy. A school janitor found the boy's body at 3pm on Tuesday afternoon.

The school called 911 and the janitor attempted CPR. Unfortunately, at 4am the next morning, the boy was pronounced dead at Children's Memorial Hospital. Details about the case are not currently being released.

School should not be a place of danger. It is supposed to be a place of learning and growth. If you or someone you know has a child who was injured at school, contact the Chicago personal injury attorneys of Friedman & Bonebrake, PC at 312-466-8200.
