A three-car accident occurred earlier this month in Will County on Interstate 55.  Three men suffered injuries in the accident and 44-year old Darren Wade was tragically killed.  

The accident occurred after Wade and another driver had been in a minor accident in the southbound lanes of Interstate 55.  A third vehicle then rear ended Wade's Ford Mustang near Illinois Highway 59.  Paramedics pronounced Wade dead at the scene of the accident.

After the initial collision, the other driver and passengers involved stepped out of their vehicle to assess the damage.  The three men were hit after the second collision and suffered minor injuries.
