Four drivers suffered minor injuries after a five-caraccident on Illinois Route 59 on Tuesday morning.
The Bartlett Police Department responded to crash at theintersection of Illinois Route 59 and South Park Place Drive shortly before 6a.m. Police said a 31-year-old man from Algonquin was driving a blue 1999 ChevyS10 southbound on Route 59 when his vehicle struck a black 2006 Mazda whilechanging lanes. The impact of the crash sent both vehicles into the northboundlanes of traffic. A tan 2006 Chevy Malibu was sideswiped, a black 2004 AudiQuattro sustained front end damage and a black 1990 Ford F250 was also damaged.
The drivers of the 2006 Mazda, 2006 Chevy, 2004 Audi and the1999 Chevy suffered minor injuries in the accident and were transported to St.Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates by the Bartlett Fire ProtectionDistrict. All four drivers were listed in good and stable condition.
Police do not believe alcohol or drug impairment played arole in the crash.
