Car Crash Hits Train Tracks

by Administrator 12. June 2009 09:59

Early Thursday morning, a car crash occurred along the Eisenhower Expressway and spilled onto the CTA's Blue Line. Police say wet conditions led to the initial crash in which a car rear ended another, causing the first vehicle to go over an embankment.

That car struck a train along the Blue Line. The train was carrying 30 passengers at the time, 9 of whom were injured. Police did not report any injuries from the initial car crash.
