At 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, a Chicago boy was struck by a white Ford F-150 truck while crossing the street in the 5400 block of Kostner Avenue in Southwest Chicago. The boy was able to walk home after the accident, but was later hospitalized with head-injuries.

Chicago police are currently looking for the driver suspected of the hit-and-run accident and are asessing the scene of the accident.
