Early Sunday morning, a man caused a collision that sent five people, including himself, to the hospital. At 2:48am, the man crashed his car into a parked police cruiser on South California Ave.

The crash injured the two police officers in the car, the driver and two others. They were all taken to the hospital. The man was charged with driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance.
