Saturday morning, around 9:30am, a collision occurred at the intersection of Racine Ave and Garfield Blvd. A westbound vehicle on Garfield struck a southbound vehicle on Racine, sending it into a utility pole.

The southbound driver was killed in the accident when the westbound driver failed to yield at a stoplight. Information concerning whether the other driver was injured or not was not given.
