Patients Injured After Car Plows into Doctor’s Waiting Room

by Administrator 27. June 2008 11:06
Several patients were injured, one seriously, after a car plowed through a wall into the waiting room of a Marion, Illinois doctor's office. According to reports, a car driven by Sharon Fuller, who was transporting her mother, Geraldine Kelley, to the doctor's office, rammed into the waiting room just after 10 AM. One woman, who was struck by the car, was transported to the hospital, while others were treated at the scene for minor injuries caused by flying glass, brick, and other debris. Fuller told police she was unfamiliar with the car, which belonged to her mother, and had mistakenly hit the gas pedal instead of the brake. No citation have yet been filed in connection with the incident. Accidents can happen anytime and anywhere.
