Six struck by car at Chicago bus shelter

by Administrator 16. July 2008 12:07
At around 8 pm on Tuesday, July 15, a car spun out of control and hit six pedestrians waiting for a bus at the corner of 79th Street and Cottage Grove Ave. The driver allegedly fled the scene. The six injured pedestrians were distributed between Mt Sinai Hospital, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Advocate Christ Medical Center and Jackson Park hospital. There have been no fatalities, although four on the injured were last reported in serious-to-critical condition. It is still unclear what caused the driver to lose control of his or her vehicle.
