Thousands of Toys Affected by Product Recall

by Administrator 14. November 2008 11:11
A massive recall issued this past Thursday will affect thousands of children's toys.  The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a voluntary recall of 18,000 My Little Train Classics toy trains, manufactured by JA-RU Inc. Investigators reported that the toy trains contained very small parts that could be detached, posing a choking hazard to small children. 8,000 two-way radios made for children by Cobra Electronics were recalled, as well.  The rechargeable batteries in the radios have the potential to lead and cause serious burn injuries. Both recalled products were sold in Toys "R" Us stores nationwide between August 2008 and September 2008. If you or someone you know has been injured due to faulty or defective products, contact the Chicago product liability attorneys of Friedman & Bonebrake, P.C. today at 312-466-8200.
