A train accident occurred on Saturday in Rome, Illinois. A police investigation has found that the woman who was killed in the accident was sitting on the CSX tracks near South James St and Martin St.
The woman and two others were watching the approach of a westbound train, and could not hear the eastbound train that hit her. No one else was injured in the 4:05pm accident.
