Woman Sues Sears for Slip and Fall

by Administrator 5. June 2008 14:06
A woman who slipped and fell at a Sears Hardware store in Collinsville, IL is suing the company for its role in causing her injuries. According to the suit filed by Lorraine Henson in Madison County Court, she was shopping at the Sears Hardware store in question on September 8, 2007 when she slipped and fell. She alleges that the fall was caused by Sears' failure to warn customers of hazardous conditions after it removed carpeting in the store's foyer. Henson is seeking over $50,000 in damages for severe injuries, pain and anguish, medical expenses, and lost wages.
